The Southern Partnership for Excellence in Leadership & Learning (SPELL) specialises in school improvement, from Primary to Post-16, mainly within the South Central region. The SPELL Alliance is a collective of Good and Outstanding schools with experienced Headteacher’s and Specialist Leaders of Education.

Wimborne Teaching School is part of Wimborne Academy Trust. The Trust provides an outstanding education across first and middle phases. Wimborne Teaching School was launched in 2014 and offers a wide range of professional development to schools throughout Dorset and the surrounding area.
Wimborne Teaching School looks to work alongside neighbouring teaching school alliances, to serve the growing needs of schools in the area.
It also has excellent strategic links with local authorities and ITT providers as well as national and local leaders of education.
