Voice 21 is the national oracy education charity. They exist to enable teachers and schools to provide a high quality oracy education so that all young people can find their voice for success in school and life.
They achieve this by delivering teacher development and school improvement programmes, promoting the impact of oracy on student outcomes and building a movement for change.
Every year they work with thousands of teachers and hundreds of schools across the UK.
The focus of this webinar will be centred around the following: -
· What is oracy? An introduction to what we really mean by oracy education, as well as how our approaches and key documents can be used as powerful tools for learning.
· Why teach oracy? The research behind why we do what we do, as well as exploring the positive impact oracy has on children's confidence, articulacy and capacity to learn.
· Oracy in Practice. Exploring what oracy in schools looks like and how you can support your children with their oracy development.
