Given the Coronavirus pandemic, we have carefully considered how we can proceed with our training for the new academic year whilst ensuring your safety and wellbeing. It is for this reason that we have decided to move all courses, including those postponed from 2019-2020 and those scheduled for 2020-2021, to an online platform. 

New Teaching and Learning Online Spring 2021

“Evidenced informed Teaching” is a series of 5 interactive CPD sessions packed with practical strategies to help teachers at every stage of their careers to bridge the gap between research and classroom pedagogy.

Drawing from a broad base of evidence, including Barak Rosenshine, Doug Lemov, John Hattie, the EEF and the book “Making Every Lesson Count” by Shaun Allison and Andy Tharby.

The course is made up of five 90-minute sessions each exploring different challenges facing teachers and identifies evidence informed strategies to maximise the impact of teaching without increasing teacher workload.

Every teacher joining the programme will be provided with a copy of Making Every Lesson Count (worth £19.99) as well as all materials used during the sessions.

The programme includes the following topics which have been identified by evidence as having the greatest impact on teaching.
